They have given their warnings.
The warnings were ignored.
The watchmen have been recalled from their post.
The land is exposed and vulnerable to attack.

Seems to me that most Christians have it "backwards" these days. Too many Christians act as if God is their servant instead of them being God's servant. There are too many prayers asking God to do this and do that (i.e. God bless my finances, enlarge my territory....) instead of saying here am I, YOUR will be done. God forgive US (i.e. me included).
