Most Christians aren't looking for ways to follow God's instructions. Instead they are looking for ways to excuse themselves from God's instructions.

  Today is the day after Obummer was re-instated. We have had a little time for the shock to wear down a little .

 I don't understand why people in this country begrudge someone else's success.

 Many people are posting pictures, on Facebook these days, of antiques with the question "who remembers these?". Unfortunately I remember all of them.

If someone today is called a slave to fashion it means that they are driven to keep up with the latest fashion trends and they strive to dress in the best clothes that they can. According to The Bible before you were saved you were a slave to lawlessness or living against God's law. The things contrary to God's law looked appealing and those were the things that you sought after. Those were the things that you hungered for.

Obama is not the problem and Romney is not the solution. I have heard many people say lately that if Obama is re-elected  America is over but Obama is not the problem, he is only a symptom. The problem is us. We as a people have turned away from God.

Christians have, for all time, asked God for a sign and today is no different. I have heard many many Christians say "if I only had a sign". Now God has given a clear and unmistakable sign and Christians have ignored it.

Many years ago Hollywood movie producers would consult Christian advisers about their movies before they would put them out. Now they are consulting muslims. The story as I hear it is that Hollywood did not abandon the Christians but the Christians abandoned Hollywood.

 Pornography has always been a male thing.... until now. Now women are getting involved in porn. Once again something that I thought I would never see. Seems to be happening more and more these days.

Many people love Jesus but  the Jesus that they love may not be the real Jesus. Unfortunately the Jesus that most Christians love doesn't say “go and sin no more” instead he says “go, there’s no more sin”.

Most Christians in America today don't really want Christianity.  Jesus said take up your cross and follow me. The cross didn't represent sunshine and lollipops. The cross represented enormous torture, suffering and pain. The Bible refers to Jesus as Lord or Master, referring to a master and slave type of relationship. Christians in America today have no concept of what it is like to be a slave and don't want to know.  Christians in America today don't want to hear about them suffering., they won't even speak out for fear of verbal repudiation much less physical threats. Christians in America today don't want to hear about following God's rules. They don't think about how God says they are supposed to live they just live the way that they want and then expect God to bless them.  What most Christians in America today really want is a magic genie. They want God to be their magic genie and make sure that their life is filled with only good things. T

When Jesus was in bodily form on earth He cried out for the people to repent. Today He is still crying out for people to repent, especially to America. The signs of God chastising America are abundant. He is chastising America to induce repentance. If America does not repent America will fall. Repent does NOT mean to simply say that you are sorry for your sin and then turn around and do it again. Repent means to turn away from your sin. To turn away from your sin you must know what sin is. To know what sin is you must know what God's law is.  

IF you read your Bible you will see in the Old Testament that when Israel turned their backs on God they suffered severely. If God will give His chosen people a smack down He will surely do it to us. The politicians in America for the last one hundred years +/- have been slowly but surely turning this country away from God. The Christians in America have, by their inaction, allowed this to happen.  America is on the brink of a serious smack down from God. If you are not part of the solution, You are part of the problem!
